You have quite a busy life. And you share your attention throughout the week in work, family, friends, and if there is time left, you will occasionally go to the gym or walk outside. You know that self-care and taking care of your body is important and you can use a little bit of help finding the right balance with all those busy obligations.
Relaxing is important
Creating a moment for yourself where you briefly withdraw from the necessities and to do’s of your work, family and social life really does you good. But it doesn’t happen that often. You could those moments even more. So that you relax or simply get the chance to read a book.
Do more of what makes you happy
Time flies in your daily life. Just blink your eyes and another year has flown by. If you want an energetic life, you can’t help it: you’ll have to do more of what YOU really like. Well, you don’t have to do anything, of course, but you miss out some great opportunities of a life filled with energy if you don’t.
Choose more happy things in life
And that also means that you do more things monthly and preferably weekly or even daily that really give you energy. Do what makes you happy. Choose nice things that will make your heart beat faster. After all, you only have 1 life, so if you let get swallowed by things that you unaware doing, it’s a pitty.
You’ve always worked hard, helping out others and taking care of them
It’s taken years to get here. At this point in your life. Before you scroll further. You can enjoy it even more. Really. It’s time for you. Hmm, I hear you thinking. This is probably a lot of work and you find it hard to come up with what makes you happy.
Yet before you know it, you spend far too much time all week doing things that you have always done. Without really considering the question: does this suit me and does it add anything to me? Does it give me energy? For your life!
Taking care of yourself is important and you know it
As far as I am concerned, there is a very big difference between filling in your week with things that ‘you should do’ and things that are right for you. To contribute to your feeling of happiness. To ensure that you get more energy. Because you give something to yourself. Because, yes, taking care of yourself is important. Actually. You’re main priority in life.
Simple exercise to do what makes you happy
The art is to make a list that fits you, who you really are, and to do that more often. It not only makes it easier for you to say ‘no’ to things that you actually didn’t feel like, but it also makes you clear what makes you happy.
Step by step works better than all-in
Give it a go. I can assure you that it works, yes also with you. In the meantime I have helped countless people like you find those things that make them really happy.
