    Do you take care of yourself? How to guide to get an energetic life full of happiness

    You have quite a busy life. And you share your attention throughout the week in work, family, friends, and if there is time left, you will occasionally go to the gym or walk outside. You know that self-care and taking care of your body is important and you can use a little bit of help finding the right balance with all those busy obligations.

     

    Relaxing is important

    Creating a moment for yourself where you briefly withdraw from the necessities and to do’s of your work, family and social life really does you good. But it doesn’t happen that often. You could those moments even more. So that you relax or simply get the chance to read a book.

     

    Do more of what makes you happy

    Time flies in your daily life. Just blink your eyes and another year has flown by. If you want an energetic life, you can’t help it: you’ll have to do more of what YOU really like. Well, you don’t have to do anything, of course, but you miss out some great opportunities of a life filled with energy if you don’t.

     

    Choose more happy things in life

    And that also means that you do more things monthly and preferably weekly or even daily that really give you energy. Do what makes you happy. Choose nice things that will make your heart beat faster. After all, you only have 1 life, so if you let get swallowed by things that you unaware doing, it’s a pitty.

     

    You’ve always worked hard, helping out others and taking care of them

    It’s taken years to get here. At this point in your life. Before you scroll further. You can enjoy it even more. Really. It’s time for you. Hmm, I hear you thinking. This is probably a lot of work and you find it hard to come up with what makes you happy.

    Right?

    Yet before you know it, you spend far too much time all week doing things that you have always done. Without really considering the question: does this suit me and does it add anything to me? Does it give me energy? For your life!

     

    Taking care of yourself is important and you know it

    As far as I am concerned, there is a very big difference between filling in your week with things that ‘you should do’ and things that are right for you. To contribute to your feeling of happiness. To ensure that you get more energy. Because you give something to yourself. Because, yes, taking care of yourself is important. Actually. You’re main priority in life.

     

    Simple exercise to do what makes you happy

    The art is to make a list that fits you, who you really are, and to do that more often. It not only makes it easier for you to say ‘no’  to things that you actually didn’t feel like, but it also makes you clear what makes you happy.

     

    Step by step works better than all-in

    Give it a go. I can assure you that it works, yes also with you. In the meantime I have helped countless people like you find those things that make them really happy. So that you feel energetic again. With a bit of awareness, in a way that suits you. In your life. No you do not have to do everything else, but thinking about it is handy.

  • Heerlijk herfst de natuur die verandert van kleur. Loslaten van de bladeren, vroeger donker en misschien kom je wat moeilijker uit bed (als je dit leest, draai jezelf nog lekker een keertje om), de wintertijd gaat in. De herfst is ook een mooi seizoen door de kleuren, zonnige herfstdagen (die zijn er gerust) en af en toe wat storm en regen En een nieuw seizoen voelt ook altijd als een nieuw begin. Natuurlijk heeft wat je eet impact op je lichaam. Gezond eten en bewust kiezen, kan geen kwaad lijkt mij, een beetje meer weerstand bieden tegen nog meer snottebellen.
  • Het was een dag in augustus. In Oostenrijk waar ik hier een berg beklom. Die zomerdag werd de zon opeens even regen. En na een dikke bui werd het toch weer droog. Deze foto had net zo goed in Nederland gemaakt kunnen worden met al die regen (op die berg na, dan)… Wat een omslag: van nazomer op het terras tot het ontwijken van een plas Maar als je eenmaal buiten bent, dan valt het altijd mee. En na je work-out ben je blij dat je toch naar buiten bent gegaan. Laat jij het weerbericht je planning bepalen? Of doe
  • Ik weet nog dat ik een aantal jaar geleden best wel bewust bezig was gezond eten. Maar het lukte me niet altijd om m’n ideale gewicht te bereiken. Als je alle ‘gezonde’ recepten uitprobeert maar niet kijkt naar wat je eet op een dag , dan kom je nog steeds aan. Yep ‍♀️ Inmiddels doe ik dat niet meer. Mijn kennis over eten is enorm verrijkt de afgelopen jaren, omdat iedereen lekker mag eten waar hij of zij zin in hebt, vind ik het onzin om telkens dat voeding aspect te benadrukken.  Een van de vele misvattingen rondom dit thema:
  • Dit gerecht heb ik vanmorgen gemaakt en komt uit mijn herfst recepten e-book die je de komende 24 uur nog gratis kunt downloaden (al 650x aangevraagd ). Gaat over gezond eten, fitter leven, je slank voelen en sterker worden (fysiek en mentaal).   Wat kan ik wel eten op een dag en wat niet, daar heb ik ook lang mee gestoeid. Intussen weet ik welke combinaties werken, wat energie geeft, hoe ik mijn gewicht in balans houd en wat goed werkt per seizoen (meer warm in de herfst en winter, in plaats van teveel koud zoals salades, yoghurt, kwark).  
  • Happy New Year lieve volger! Ik wens je een energiek jaar toe, waarin je je fit voelt, uitgerust, vrolijk en gemotiveerd. Ik hoop dat al je wensen voor 2021 uitkomen ✨

  • Ben je niet echt een kookster? Goed nieuws! En wat is het goede nieuws? Iedereen kan deze gezonde smoothie maken. Alleen niet iedereen doet het. Toch adviseer ik je om veel te experimenteren met gezonde recepten. Juist omdat je nog geen keukenprins(es) bent Want hoe word je er goed in? Door iedere dag te koken. De kwaliteit volgt vanzelf. Wil je gezonder leven? Kom in actie. Probeer een lekker recept. Start met kleine stappen. Dan wordt het vanzelf een routine en patroon. Als je dit nog steeds leest, dan denk ik dat je antwoord ja is. Heel goed! Hier is
  • Wandelen voor het ontbijt is goed voor je #goedemorgen Minimaal 25 minuten is al voldoende en helpt om af te vallen. Je voelt je fit en start fris aan je dag. Ik houd deze routine er dagelijks in. Zelfs als het regent op een dag zoals gisteren. En eerlijk, even dacht ik ‘Hmmm niet echt zin in een nat pak, zal ik gewoon een dagje overslaan?’ Omdat ik weet hoe veel energie het me geeft, ga ik toch naar buiten. En na zo’n wandeling, zelfs in de regen, ben ik blij dat ik toch ben gegaan. Vaak word je getrakteerd
